We're home!! We had the best time in Disneyland this weekend, it was the BEST TRIP ever!! The kids did so good, considering it is a little hectic and crazy at times! Ari got to go to a "royal coronation" ceremony and became a "real" princess, she danced next to Ariel and got to meet a bunch of princesses too! Her favorite ride was for sure the tea cups, but she also enjoyed the car ride and of course the carousel! D loved most anything we did! He went on a lot more rides than Ari b/c after a terrifying ride on Pirates of the Caribbean, she was scared to death of most of the rides!!
They had a blast shopping & eating also! Thanks to great grandma/grampa & YaYa/Grampa for giving them each their own cash to get whatever they wanted! Trust me, they did!! A couple days before we left they also got a card in the mail from all the Disney princesses! It had a McDonald's gift card in it for each of them! Someone (aunt Roxy) knows the way to little Ari's heart!!
We had the "park hopper" pass so we went to both Disney & California Adventure, both were pretty cool. We just had so much fun I could go on and on about it, but I'll just tell the story through our pics!! We got some good ones, and a lot of them, so this may be a LOOOONG post!!
Our trip in pictures:
Breakfast at the airport, showing off her matching nails/ring/shirt
Best shirts ever!!
first half of the flight:

2nd half:
First night heading to downtown disney
Never thought I would be a parent who would use one of these "leash" things, but man, what a lifesaver for a wild man like D!
Starting to look like a real pirate!!
D: End of day 1
2nd day! Finally inside Disneyland! Classic shot...
Train ride around the park
Kids getting a little restless waiting in a long line for Ari to meet the princesses...
I'd say it was worth it!!
She was so excited to meet Ariel!
She never knew Minnie was a princess until now! She was quite thrilled to hear that news! "I just can't believe Minnie is a princess too??" she kept telling me!
After becoming a real princess, she needed some princess gear, she was so happy at this moment! Seeing her so happy & worry free is what made this trip so fun for me. I wish everyone could have seen her right here..
Little bit obsessed with pirates, what a cool face panting huh??
So happy, she's doing what I call her "cute walk"
I'm sure this picture will gross out most of my friends who if they do eat meat, DO NOT eat it off a bone...but I'm always proud to watch her eat like this!!
D loved any ride we took him on!!
Can't go here and not get a huge sucker..they still haven't made a dent in them
Teacups = Happiness
Driving the cars: Grammy & D
Ari & Mommy
D: End of day 2
Late night snack back at the hotel & checking out all her new stuff!!
Jamba Juice, a nice change from McDonald's every morning!
Meeting Mickey, D was scared of all the characters
Meeting Minnie again, not as a princess this time...so confusing..
I think both Ari's like self portraits
Auntie & D on the rocket ride!!
New fancy shoes
The toy story ride was soo fun! It's more of a game so while D got to see Buzz my mom & I competed, I won, of course!
D: Middle of day 3
Unicorn Face painting!
We got to see the Pixar Play Parade in California Adventure. It was sooo amazing. D had so much fun. This was one of the only things I wanted to be able to do with him. He absolutely loves Toy Story, Cars, Monsters Inc., ect. He got to shake hands with a ton of the people & was so excited the whole time!
Buzz!!
Tow Mater of course!! His favorite!!
About an hour after that parade we headed back to Disneyland for the Princess Parade, which was equally cool! They do such a good job on these things. Ari got to wave at all the princesses some even blew kisses back a her!
Ari met a new friend earlier in the day and we ran into her right before the parade so she got to sit with us! I asked her what her name was.."belle" of course..duh Georgia
Tell me why D is scared of Mickey Mouse, but not this animal from Lion King?
Makin' sure she's still cute...yup.
She told me she thought she looked like a movie star princess!
D: end of day 3
Being tired & silly on our last night
This is how she lays like a "movie star". Her words, not mine..
Headed back to the airport, looking like a walking Disney advertisment
Keeping occupied on the plane
Before we left the ground. Talk about easy flying!
The pool at our hotel was so cool, it had this whole kids area that the kids loved! The waterslides were easy enough that D could even go alone!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this trip special! Auntie Jess let us borrow her headphones & stuff for my DVD player..which helped occupy at least an hour on the plane each way!! And Auntie Jennie took us to & from the airport. The kids were so tired when we landed in Seattle, and knowing she was outside waiting for them was a lifesaver! They love her just a little bit!!

OMG! This looks like the most amazing trip ever! I'm so glad you had such a good time! The pics are great! I can't wait to take my baby to Disneyland, maybe next time we can all go!! Your mama must have been in heaven, she had her 2 daughters, both grandkids and another on the way. So lucky...
What an AWESOME trip you had! Love all the pictures. Isn't it just so much fun watching the "magic" of Disney through our children's eyes? I so want to go again now after seeing the pictures.
That looks like it was amazing! I can't wait til both of my boys are old enough to go! It's so awesome how happy kids can just make everyone happy! All of those pictures are pure joy (including the ones of them sleeping on the plane...that just made me a little jealous).
So glad you had such a great time!
Ok, EVERYONE seems to beat me..I always try to be the first one to post a comment...and ALL day yesterday I checked and checked...and now I'm in 4th place :( Ha ha. I'm so happy you guys had so much fun! Maybe we can plan a trip where ALL of us go like Lana said...that would be so much fun! I love the pics of D sleeping...seriously, and Ari looks SOOOOOOOOOOO adorable in all of them...I can't wait to see all of their new stuff...finally, they have some toys...you never buy them anything...they must be in heaven..ha ha :)
HAHAHAH I laughed out loud at your leash comment. Same thing for us. Matty was just a little younger than D when we went last, and yep, what a life saver - for our arms, and his safety of not getting trampled or lost!! I'm not sure if I'll be able to even gt one on him come november!! Your pictures made my day :) I love that your mom and your sis went with you guys!! Awesome :) Kids look like they were just overwhelmed with happiness and fun!
You all looked like you had so much fun!! I can't wait to go back when Jack is older. I love the pictures of Ari with all her new stuff. I swear Tatum and Ari are sooo much alike at that age.
