Bunnies & Lions!
We recently had a bunny and a lion sighting in Granite Falls! Obviously the news didnt think it was as exciting as Darren did, they never came out to cover the story. Luckily I was there to capture the moment!

Mornings With Mommy
D's new favorite thing is getting up early! and i mean EARLY! as in 6:00, or 6:12 as it seems to be every morning. Up until now we have slept in till close to 8 everyday so this is quite the change for me. I started out being utterly annoyed, but now it has just turned into our quiet time together and I love it! From 6 till 8 is one of the only times he is calm, and just likes to hang out with me. I'll make some coffee and put in his new favorite Thomas & Friends movie and we just hang out on the couch for a couple hours! Ari usually doesn't get up until 8 and wakes up hungry and ready to go...Here's a few pics of him from a couple mornings ago...of course in his Thomas PJ's..I'm afraid he's becoming a little obsessed!! We've already had one Thomas addict in the family..I guess Clem is passing the torch to D!!
Mr. Cute Man tired in the morning!!
Choo Chooo Choo Chooo!!
Did I do that? Yes I did and proud of it!!
Shhhhh, don't tell daddy! no eating on his new chair!!

Snow Showers Bring May Flowers?
It's hard to believe that less than a week ago we were BBQ'ing in the backyard and getting sun burns! Today has been on and off snow, and was even sticking for a while! Well so much for running errands today! I decided to bake cookies instead! I'm not sure why I would make the worlds EASIEST (& yummiest) sugar cookies when i am trying to diet..but thats what i do! Either way , the kids enjoyed them!!
MMMMMMM, tasty.....
The toughest critic says...
Last night Pappy took us to our favorite taco truck in Clearview. It was quite the event for Darren. The only other customer in there was a construction worker wearing an orange shirt. Now if you know Darren you know he LOVES guys, the fact that this particular man was wearing an "orange" shirt got D pretty excited! He walked right up to him saying "hi, hi, hi" and "daddy" and trying to snuggle his way into this stangers arms! Too bad he was just getting his dinner to go..he was a good sport about the whole thing. But then again who can resist Darrens charm? D also thought the taco truck was a Choo Choo..The lady/owner/cook was pretty taken with him as well so she let us come in the "train" and let Darren pretend to drive! Who would have thought a quick trip for tacos could be so fun!
Can I please Drive the Choo Choo??
Ari and Auntie Jennie
And just incase you dont believe me it was snowing here today!! Look at Darrens face every time he says snow, he ALWAYS makes that scrunched up face, that is if you can see around Ari who was feeling not camera shy today!

Motorcycle Men
If there is one thing Darren likes, its things that are fast & loud! You can imagine how exciting it is to go to Ya Ya & Grampa's and "ride" the motorcycles!!
A couple weeks ago we went over to their house for dinner and D got to play on the bikes for a long time! Ari was busy "exercising" on the trampoline with Ya Ya and Jon was practicing on the bikes! He actually has gone out a couple times with his dad and is taking a class next month. I can see the future...by next year we'll have 2 motorcycles, a couple boats, cars, trucks etc... Thanks Grampa Fred!!
Future Biker Dude !!
How do you start this thing?
I need to bulk up if they're gonna let me take this out alone!!
Cute Bikers!!

It's Always Sunny in Granite Falls
Saturday was such a beautiful day! It was such a teaser though! Ari spent the day in her swimsuit of course! I was a little "tired" from a late night with Jessica on Friday! but still got to enjoy the day!
I finally got to meet baby Jack! He is soo sweet and sooo soo cute! He slept in my arms for about a 1/2 hour!! I brought my camera and forgot to take pics!!
I left the kids at Grammy's while i was there, then we met up at the park by her house. The kids love these big cool saucer-like swings they have there!
And of course Darren's favorite thing is the big slide! He loves to go down, and watch the big kids climb up it!
Darren is pretty hard to get photos of these days! He is always on the go!! The rare chance he stops for a photo op, he always gives his "big smile", which is cute as can be, but not always the best for framing photos!!
We spent the rest of the day at Grammy's playing in the backyard. The kids were sporting there new clothes/swimsuits from her trip to Scottsdale. Do you think Ari liked her new swimsuit?
Yes, Darren HAD to wear this pink princess helmet while we were on a walk, that's my manly man!
And finally my funny little girl being, well, Funny!

Good news from the Doctors!!
We had our annual check up with the Pulmonary Clinic down at Children's Hospital today for Ari. It was a little sooner than one year due to her recently coming down w/ RSV & Pneumonia at the same time. SHE DID AMAZING! Her little lungs sounded so good, he didn't even think an X-ray was necessary! He said her overall health is really good for CDH baby! She even went up a BUNCH on the growth charts! When she was 2 she was hanging out on the 3rd % for weight, and today she was at the 25%!!! Plus her height has gone up too, she is in the 10th%!! The docs really couldn't have been more pleased! We were, as always, curious how her Pectus was doing. He didnt seem to concerned at all, and said normally the only reason these are ever corrected with surgery is for cosmetic reasons when someone is older.(pectus or Pectus Excavatum, is when there is an indent in the chest, in between the ribs. Ari has this due to her lungs growing at different rates the ribs do not grow properly). Anyways, long story short it was good news, its not bothering her lung function at all now so that's a good sign!
He also set us up with an appt with another clinic at Children's to watch her Scoliosis. It doesn't appear she has it too severe, there is really nothing until after your major growth spurts (puberty) that they need to do other than watch it.
All in all it was a very good positive appt! We like those! Ari got McDonald's afterward as promised!
She was really scared before, so the receptionist gave her this puppy named "Pugsly" who now she just loves!

The Things She Says
Ari is full of funny conversations these days...i try to write them down..heres a few of our best ones that have us laughing for days...
"when can i get my own credit card?"
-When your 18.
"when im 18?? Yeaaaaah, I love MONEY!!"
-You'll have your own job then.
"my own job? Yeaaah, you'll be there too right mom?"
"I'm not a gebow any more, Im a Sneaky Snake"
"can we go to nordstrom and get a surprise?"
"mommy, please stop doing laundry for one minute and play with me, just one minute??"
"i love mommy, and daddy, and brother, and hannah montana, and lindsey lohan, and morgan"
My all time favorite that she says probably 10 times every day...
"i love you mommy, i love you bigger and more than that, your my BEST FRIEND"
Heres a few of her "posing" photos. BTW, i dont ask her to do this, everytime i get out my camera this is what she does..I love this girl

Welcome Baby Jack!
Let the Blogging begin
I had been thinking about it for a while, and finally decided to start a blog! I love as you all know, to show off my cute kids so what better way than this!
We just got back from a long weekend with my dad up on hood canal in Union. He rented us all a big house on the water and it was so much fun! We couldnt have asked for a better location!! We could ALMOST see ya ya and grampa up on the hill accross the water!! The weather was awsome, sunny, cold, rainy, warm! We even watched a big storm roll by..which was pretty cool as you could literally see the rain moving along the water..(big Ari might not have thought it was that cool since she had just decided to leave for a run!!) The house was perfect for the kids, the downstairs was just a big open room they could and did just run around, play, wrestle, dance, and of course "rock out"...Darren did of course manage to get into all the toilets at least once but can you blame the guy? all that water to splash around in...
Ben or Uncle Guy, which Darren re-named him, cooked for us all weekend..we had the most amazing food, this was stuff i'd pay big bucks for in a restaurant!! Pretty much as long as i kept on cleaning, he kept on cooking...It was too good to be true..
anyways, i could go on and on..but you get the point, i had a blast! here are some pics to prove it..
I even ate raw oysters!!
