Every year my mom & sister & I take Ari downtown during Christmas for a "fancy night". She gets to wear her Christmas dress and ride the carousel...it's always a good time! This year was bittersweet because it was also my sisters last night in Sea-town...We had a great time and little Ari did great considering she barely had a nap that day and we were downtown till after 10...
Pre-funk at grammy's
She got to open her xmas gift from Auntie...Not sure if she was excited to get the Barbie Diamond Castle doll or not? What do you think? We always have drinks at the Fairmont before dinner...because it's always smart to teach a kid about $10 shirley templesWe finally made it to see the snow at Pacific Place...every year the timing is off
Waiting for our table at Palamino...luckily we had to wait for about 35 mins because Ari had "a lot of work to do"
Carousel ride
We always end the night with a horse & carriage ride around the city. It was really pretty this year and warm under the big blankets they give you!

That is so flippin' cute. We are going to start a tradition somewhat like that this year!
George - those photos are ridiculous!! Ari is such a sweet ham!!! I love that you chronicled the evening, eventhough it was bittersweet.
Cute pics - can you send them to me, please? I guess you can see when I'm on your blog, even though it says Albuquerque -- hello, it's Santa Fe ;) MUCH nicer, lol.
Ari looked sosososo cute! How fun! I can't wait for our downtown night this weekend when it's, um, 30 degrees outside...
Oh..my eyes are watering. It is so cool that you guys do this....I wish I had a sissy like Ari :) At least she's still my step-mom.
Hello I just found your blog. My son is a CDH survivor too! Ariana is adorable I am so happy to see that she is doing so well and I love the pictures from your family tradition. It looks like so much fun!
