Ballet Camp!

Ari finished up her Angelina Ballerina Day Camp last week. Let me just say, she did so good, it was absolutely nothing but amazing! Basically, this camp was 2 hours a day, at the same place as her normal class, with the same teacher, and the same girls except for 1.

So she goes to her normal class on Tuesday at 9:00 and does not participate..it's actually turning out to be her worst class yet. She's just upset and crying, and laying on the ground face down. I was starting to wonder if i should just cancel the day camp (which started at 10:00) and try and get my $120 bucks back!! I figured I'd give it a go and see...So 10 rolls around and she just starts doing the ballet. She did the whole class all week and even did the big performance on Friday in front of everyone. I don't know what changed for her..but she is such a funny little girl. I have never been so proud in my life! She was so excited the whole time. I'm sure she looked over at me and smiled at least every 5 mins. She had this look of being so proud of herself, and knowing how happy I was. Of course, I couldn't help but cry. Not enough to be obvious of course, I played it off like "oh, whats in my eye??".


Anyways, she had such a blast at her camp, now she is all excited to keep taking her class and I'm 99% sure she will actually participate now!! Of course, I do still have to be the only mom in the room, but that's OK, she told me this week I can "sit right by the door" if i want...
